About NPIS
A Mission Rooted in Faith, Structure, and Purpose
Narrow Path Impact Services was founded on the conviction that every man deserves a genuine opportunity to rebuild his life with structure, accountability, and the support of a community that believes in his potential.
Our Mission
Why NPIS Exists
Narrow Path Impact Services exists to provide structured, sober, and accountability-centered transitional housing and practical support for men who are working to rebuild their lives.
We believe that stable housing is the foundation but that lasting change requires more than a roof. It requires structure, mentorship, personal responsibility, and a clear path forward.
We are prepared to serve veterans, justice-involved adults transitioning back into the community, and transition-aged young men throughout California, with transitional housing and supportive services based in Bakersfield and Kern County.
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."— Matthew 7:13–14
The name Narrow Path Impact Services reflects this truth. The path to lasting stability and independence is not the easiest road it requires discipline, commitment, and a willingness to do the hard work. NPIS is designed for men who are ready to walk that path.
Our Vision
What We Are Working Toward
We envision stronger communities where veterans, justice-involved adults, and transition-aged young men have the opportunity to rebuild their lives in a structured, supportive environment gaining the stability, skills, accountability, and connections needed to achieve independence and become contributing members of their families and communities.
Core Values
What Guides Everything We Do
Accountability
We hold participants to clear expectations because we believe accountability is an act of respect it communicates that we take their potential seriously.
Structure
Consistent routines, clear rules, and defined responsibilities create the stable environment in which real growth becomes possible.
Dignity
Every participant is treated with respect. Our program is designed to build men up, not to manage them or warehouse them.
Faith
Our program is grounded in faith-based principles, purpose, character, service, and the belief that transformation is possible for every person who is willing to pursue it.
Practical Support
We focus on real-world readiness: employment, identification documents, financial literacy, transportation, and the life skills that make independence sustainable.
Community
Lasting change happens in relationship. NPIS is developing partnerships with agencies, employers, churches, and community organizations that share our commitment to long-term stability.
A Note on Our Development Stage
Building Stability That Lasts
Through accountability, mentorship, practical life-skills development, and connections to employment, and community resources, we help each participant build a stronger foundation for the future.
Our work is strengthened through partnerships with public agencies, veteran service organizations, employers, community organizations, churches, and other service providers committed to creating lasting opportunities for the men we serve.
We welcome referrals, community partnerships, and opportunities to work together.
