Who Can Submit a Referral Inquiry

Referral inquiries are accepted from professionals, organizations, and private referral sources.  An Incarcerated Person can initiate the process of seeking transitional housing however coordination and completion will be managed by the Parole Services Associate (PSA).

  • Probation and parole officers
  • Reentry program case managers and coordinators
  • Veteran service organizations and VA case managers
  • Social workers and county social services staff
  • Courts, diversion programs, and drug court coordinators
  • Homeless services providers and shelter staff
  • Faith-based organizations and community nonprofits
  • Transition-age youth service providers

What to Expect After Submitting

We review your inquiry

An NPIS team member will review your submission and follow up within 3–5 business days.

We discuss the individual's situation

We will contact you to learn more about the individual's background, needs, and readiness for a structured program.

We assess program fit

We will determine whether the individual meets NPIS eligibility criteria and whether our program is the right fit for their current situation.

04

We coordinate next steps

If appropriate, we will work with you to coordinate intake, documentation, and transition planning.
